Well apparently it is the fall of 2026 and I’m not sure what happened but Summer seemed to be on the gas. It’s sped by in a blur of life and color. We enter into the changing season ready for change and new horizons. Welcome to Issue 6 of Tumble Dry Low. In this issue we try to catch up with all the speed demons out there soaking up the cosmic rays from volcano tippies to sea level shenanigans.
Ayden Banning gets us out of the gate with a casual stroll through his summer hood and the memories carved in turn. From there we head west to catch up with a gaggle of guys enjoying the salty air shaping, painting, and surfing. Thomas McGrath takes us along as he asks artist Jess Mudgett, surf shaper Taylor Pace, and media master Nate Duffy what makes them tick while they catch some cruisers on the Oregon Coast. Then to round out the trifecta of action, Little Ski Hill comes through with their AC/VC Skatedown series taking competitors through the peaks of Idaho to the skateparks of McCall and New Meadows. This double header event brings the community together year over year to raise money for their after school programs and celebrate the friendships these things bring into our lives. Catch some action through the lens of Michael Floyd as four-wheeled demons take over the concrete creations.
Thanks a bunch to the subscribers, supporters and shops keeping these pages printing. Please enjoy these visuals and share them with friends, family, enemies, and pets. Check out our merch and subscribe to the zine on the website. As always, if you have any art, words, creative endeavors linked to the pursuit of pastime, we’re always taking submmissions to feature your work.
